Hello, I need help finding an episode. I don't recall the name of the movie that was being riffed, but it was a black and white film that started out with two guys in a spaceship. I recall one of the guys being hit with a laser and floating off into space. The line 'All dogs go to HELL' was used as a riff.
If someone can tell me what episode this was, you have my thanks. I suddenly started wanting to watch it today.

i love the boys on the Satellite of Love, that goes without saying. its hard for me to find a way in which their genius could be improved upon. but i was wondering...
every been watching along with the guys, and come across a moment of comic gold that they just didn't seem to take advantage of? riffs that shouldacoulda have been but werent?

Hey y'all,
Because I am an anal-retentive Virgo type, I have been doing some tag cleanup, mostly merging cases where some people wrote a tag in the plural and others singular ("host segment" vs. "host segments"), putting in commas to separate tags where people didn't do that and we got one long tag like "mystery science theater mike nelson yout" and "mst3k youtube episodes shorts links", and standardizing how the movie titles are spelled/punctuated.
Here's my question for you: There's a bunch of tags/titles in there beginning with "the" (such as "The Day the Earth Froze") and I wondered what people thought was most natural/useful there. My own inclination is to delete the "the" so the titles will sort by their first "significant digit", as it were; I'd be looking under "D" for "Day" and not "T" for "The" if I were looking for posts related to that episode. But what would you all like?
(Also, ahem, I really gotta question the need for a tag for mst3k in an
mst3k community...)

My fiancee decided to trim her toenails in the living room last night. Vacuuming this morning, I caught myself saying, "Toenails! Toenails everywhere. Don't even have this many toes!"
After thinking about it the other day I was trying to make a list of the most memorable sketches. Ones that I came up with:
- "Toobular Boobular Joy", which still makes me smile.
- Both of Tom's choir pieces
- I can't remember the episode, but I laughed a lot when Tom tried to write a ballad and Crow made fun of him the whole way through until Tom was in tears
- When Crow cooked the space monster they hit (his coy "I mean he's goooooood" never fails to make me smile)
- The beginning of Deadly Bees where Crow drowns in sauce and Mike kisses Gypsy
- "Turn your crank to Frank". I wish they would have finished more than just the snippets of some of those songs because "Mama knocked me down again" and "Turkey Turkey" always get stuck in my head
What other ones and why do you like them?

We're having people over for a New Year's MST3K marathon. I just got an email from one of the potential party-goers asking me what MST3K is.
So, guys! If you were describing MST3K to a complete neophyte, what would you tell her? Are there any particular clips you might send along to demonstrate?
cinematic titanic is going to be in my area on december 31st and i'm not sure if i should go!
has anyone here ever gone to one before? what was it like? did you get to meet with the guys and get autographs? was there a q & a? did it suck that they weren't in costume? were the jokes funny?
if i go, i'm probably going to get a crappy seat since it's so late. so if you went and sat near the back, what the experience like? still hear the guys okay?
what do you think of the price? a little over $100 for two people.
i'm really not sure if i should go and really need feedback ASAP.
thanks guys!

One of the best Xmas gifts I've ever received, made by the girlfriend of one of my brothers:

I shall wear it everywhere.

I'm kidding, I'm kidding, hang up the phone.
i'm watching shorts on youtube 'cause i can't sleep. i forgot how totally amazing they are. i was dying all over again during Keeping Clean and Neat.
"First of all, form the habit of getting up in plenty of time..."
"To sober up."

Hey, all!
There's a riff, and I'm not sure what episode it's from, nor do I remember exactly how it goes. It's something along the line of, "My hair is a series of [something] constantly [something; maybe "processing"?] information".
Thanks for any help you can give me.

If Rick and Julie had been together for any amount of time, then doesnt each of them have a responsibility to mention their dissatisfaction to the other one?
Taking Sudafed and Nyquil together? I did a google search and found links to Merlin's Chop and Alien from L.A., but there might be another (plus I can't remember the specific location of the riffs for either).
I took a 12 hour Sudafed (the real stuff, had to get it from the pharmacy) about 8 hours ago and I just took Nyquil. I'm off to bed now, hoping to wake up feeling better, and wondering if I will have messed up dreams.

honk, honk! on your ass!
i kept saying that to my friend the other night. she was walking a lot faster than me, so i'd run to catch up and go "HONK HONK ON YOUR ASS!"
